I know, I know! I have a weird fascination with celebrity fragrances, but this one is in a category all it's own.
Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson is something that I not only wear, but my mom and sister wear it as well. It is a beautiful fragrance, and I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like the smell. It is something that is constantly getting compliments from both men and women!
Top Notes: Peach Blossom, Bergamot, Goij Leaf, Pink Champagne Heart Notes: Lotus, Peony, Plumeria, Jasmine, Turkish Rose Base Notes: Amber, Blonde Woods, Musk, Patchouli
Although it has a lot of floral notes, it isn't overpowering at all. I'm sensitive to florals, and they usually give me a headache, but this fragrance doesn't! It really lingers throughout the day, which is something that I look for in fragrances. If is very soft, so when you walk by someone, they get a hint of the fragrance. It is GORGEOUS!
I know that many people are skeptical of celebrity fragrances, but this is one that is a rare gem. I think everyone should get a sample, or have a smell in stores, because it is something that I think that EVERYONE would enjoy!
Have you tried Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love Perfume? I love hearing from you!
I'm starting a new series on my blog called Summer Lovin', which will be all about products that I'm loving for summer. Yes, I know that it is still technically spring, but where I live, it is basically summer because it has been in the mid to upper 80's for weeks now. It is also crazy humid, which makes everything feel swampy!
I have heard mixed reviews on the NYX cream blushes. Some people thought they were wonderful, and some people thought they were too oily. I personally LOVE them, and wanted to share my thoughts with you along with the colors that I have!
Every once in a while, Cherry Culture will have a 40% off NYX sale, which is when I always try out some NYX products. Last summer, they had a sale, and I purchased two NYX cream blushes. Lets just say I was NOT disappointed.
As you can see, the colors I picked were Glow, and Boho Chic. On NYX's website, they describe Glow as a "plummy pink" and Boho Chic as a "light blue toned pink".
I think these blushes are gorgeous, and perfect for summer when you don't want to look or feel too powdery. They are perfect year round for girls like me who have dull dry skin, because they make you look dewy and glowing. I have to disagree with those who say that these are too oily, because I don't find them oily at all (which could be due to the fact that I have dry skin). You could even use these and then set them with a powder blush to make your blush last all day if you have oily skin.
I love to apply these with my Sonia Kashuk duo fiber stippling brush, because they blend them out so nicely, and apply them evenly. The only downside to the Sonia Kashuk brush is that it sheds like no other! So I do have to pick out some brush hair from the cream blush, which is a bit of a bummer. I've also used my fingers to apply these when I'm in a hurry, and that works great too! I'd imagine that the Real Techniques buffing brush would be great as well! These blushes are really pigmented, so a little goes a long way!
Another great thing about these blushes is that you get 3.5 grams, and even when full priced, they are only $6 USD. Like I mentioned, you only need the tiniest amount, so I feel like you are really getting your moneys worth with these!
See how these catch the light? They really make you look like you are glowing from within. Which is BIG for me, since I have dry skin and usually look dull!
I would HIGHLY recommend that you check out the NYX cream blushes! I already have my eye on some other shades!
Have you tried any NYX cream blushes? If so, what did you think about them? Any shade recommendations? What is your go-to brand for cream cheek products? I love hearing from you!
I wanted to love these, I really did, but it just didn't happen. Unfortunately the Aveeno Positively Radiant daily cleansing pads were a huge disappointment for me.
When I think Aveeno, I think natural, hence the name Aveeno Active Naturals. I heard so many great things about Aveeno products, and I had never tried any, so I thought the Positively Radiant cleansing pads would be a great place to start. I have dry, dull skin, so I'm immediately interested if a product promises radiance. The first thing I noticed when opening the jar, was the STRONG fragrance, and when I say strong, I mean somewhat overpowering. My skin is very sensitive to fragrances, especially on my face, so I was nervous to even start using them. I am used to natural skincare products having little to no fragrances, and if there is a fragrance, it is a natural fragrance, usually from a natural oil such as lavender or tea tree oil. This fragrance was an artificial floral fragrance, and was just off putting to me. I decided to use them anyways, since I had paid a pretty penny for these. (They aren't cheap, especially for drugstore pricing!) I used them as suggested, and after one use, I woke up with breakouts. I continued to use these for several days, because I thought that the breakout might be coincidence. It wasn't. Every time I used these, I woke up with even more breakouts. I'm almost positive that the culprit of my breakouts was the heavy fragrance of the radiance pads. I have been using these in the shower on my body, just so I can use them up, because I don't want them to waste. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and nervous to try any more Aveeno products, because I'm worried they might all be heavily fragranced.
Have you tried these? Did they break you out? Do all Aveeno products have a heavy fragrance? I'd love to hear from you!
I have really sensitive skin. I was using other drugstore facial washes, but the weren't quite gentle enough for my dry/dehydrated skin. I had heard great things about the Simple skin care line, and I knew I needed to check out the products and I was pleased to see that there was a Moisturizing facial wash in the range! I loved the 2-1-0 simple philosophy of this product having 2 vital vitamins, 1 skin loving nutrient, and 0 perfumes or dyes. I have noticed in the past that my skin really negatively reacts to both dyes and perfumes, and will become red and sore. I really have noticed a difference in my skins red dry patches, which is great. I still have to exfoliate twice a week, since there are no scrubbing beads or anything in this product. One thing that I dislike unfortunately is that the second ingredient is a sulfate. I was hoping this facial wash would have been sulfate free, but it is not. (It isn't a deal breaker though, it is still a wonderful product!)
I would recommend this to anyone with dry sensitive skin, because it will help to reduce any redness or irritations. I'm not sure how this would be on acne prone skin, because it doesn't have any salicylic acids or anything like that.
Have you tried any Simple skin care products? Do you know of any facials washes that are paraben or sulfate free? I'd love to hear from you!!
If you've read my blog before, you'd know that I have super dry skin! Lately it has been ridiculously itchy and dry, and my go-to moisturizers were just irritating it even more. I rediscovered the wonder that is Johnson's baby creamy oil which contains cocoa & shea butter. Like the bottle says, it is non-greasy and has a rich texture. When I first applied this, I thought that it would be one of those lotions that would take forever to sink in to my skin because of how thick it was. Needless to say- it sank in quickly and I was pleasantly surprised! It has a light ~typical~ cocoa butter scent which isn't overpowering. The scent does linger on the skin for a while after application, which I personally don't mind because I like the scent!
My skin LOVES this lotion. Although it sinks in quickly, it really has long lasting moisturizing results. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, in fact it soothes my dry skin, and stops the itching. I'd highly recommend that you all try out this lotion, because even though it is targeted for use on babies, it is amazing for adults as well! (I even prefer this over the Vaseline Cocoa butter!)
About to sneak in a little blogging at work. Shhh! ;)

Summer Perfection: Victoria's Secret "Secret Garden" Body Mists: I prefer body mists in the summer, and VS body mists are my go-to. A look at Love Spell, Pear Glace, and Sweet Daydream. Check it out [Here]
YouTube Videos of the week:
I hope you all had an amazing week, and enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!
Something about Victoria's Secret "Secret Garden" refreshing body mists scream summer to me. I find body mists easier to wear in the summer because they are less "heady" and intrusive. VS body mists are my go-to because the scents are always a fresh mix or fruity florals that are gentle on the skin and really linger throughout the day. I wanted to share my three favorites with you, in case you are on the market for a new fresh mist for summer!
"Refresh with fragrance from a Secret Garden, infused with moisturizing Aloe Vera and calming Chamomile. Mist over body after shower or bath for delicately scented skin."
Love Spell: This is one of Victoria's Secret cult body mist scents. It is easily recognizable, but is something that no matter how many times I wear it, I just cannot get enough. The notes in Love Spell are Cherry Blossom, Peach, and White Jasmine. To me, this smells like a grown- up fruit punch cocktail. It's so nice! I've never met anyone who didn't like this scent.
Pear Glace: This scent is my absolute FAVORITE scent out of all the Secret Garden Body Mists that I've tried. It has been featured in my favorites video and blog post, and I can't get enough of it. (I don't know how to pronounce "Glace" though! LOL) The notes are Pear Nectar, Cassis, and Violet. I love anything pear scented, so this is right up my alley! I also love that it is green! It was one of the first Secret Garden body mists on the market along with Love Spell, and it's still going strong, so I'm guessing that means a lot of people love it!
Sweet Daydream: This scent is Apple, Raspberry, and Vanilla, so it isn't quite as "tartly" scented as the other two. I really enjoy this as well, and love to spray it throughout my room as well as wearing it as a body mist. As you can see, I haven't used this one quite as much as the others, due to the fact that the pump leaks and it makes it super difficult to pump out the mist, so I have to work with it a little more to get the product out. I'm planning on using up one of the others and then washing the pump and putting it in the Sweet Daydream bottle! Then it will be more easy to enjoy!
Do you have any favorite VS body mist scents? I'd love recommendations!
Thank you so much for reading! I'd love if you followed me here or on bloglovin', or twitter @MissStyleMonstr (hehe!)
Last week, I did a YouTube video called Bronzers: The Good, The Bad, and The Oompa Loompa, which showed you the bronzers that I have tried and whether I thought they were worth a second look. I wanted to do a blog post to go along with it so that you could see the products up close and see swatches in case you aren't into YouTube videos!
Let's get started with the drugstore bronzers!
Rimmel London Natural Bronzer- Sun Light: This is my favorite bronzer out of both categories! The Natural bronzer is true to its claims, it is very natural. You aren't going to look orange, or like a disco ball, because although there does seem to be some shimmer in the pan, once applied, there is no shimmer to be found. I use this year round, and find that it warms up my skin tone in the winter, and then contours perfectly in the summer. It is a holy grail product for me, and I find myself consistently choosing this bronzer over all my higher end bronzers.
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder: Ignore the blush, it's good, but the bronzer is better. This bronzer is very dark, but is a dream to blend out. You do have to apply with a light hand, because I have found that I can look a little "muddy" with this. Not orange at all, just a little..well dirty looking. This product is supposed to be a dupe for the Nars Orgasm blush & Laguna bronzer duo. I haven't tried the Nars Laguna bronzer, but I'd highly recommend this ELF bronzer. The Elf duo is only $3 USD, and for that price you can't go wrong. I find myself reaching for this most in the summer, when I have more of a tan.
Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing Powder- 020 Suntan Matte: When these first came on the market, people were comparing them to MAC's Mineralize Skin finishes. I was attracted to this because it was a part of the Colorstay range, as I have really liked most of the colorstay products that I've tried. Like the name suggests, this product is matte, which is great for summer. I find myself using this dusted lightly over my face in the summer to give me one uniform shade. It is a lot lighter than it looks in the pan, and the veining throughout really help the color be more neutral toned, which is rare for a bronzer. I'd recommend this one to any and all skin types.
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder- 720A Sunny: I remember this product being the first bronzer I ever tried, way back in highschool. I was never really great with makeup back then, and I remember applying the Sunny bronzer with the little puff it came with, all over my face, which was totally not a good look but I remember really liking the bronzer. I'm not sure if the formula has changed, but I'm a little UNDERwhelmed with this when I repurchased. I remember it being darker, and a lot more powdery. If you were to drop it slightly, it would shatter. I know that probably sounds like a bad thing, but to me it was a good thing, because it meant that I could blend it out easily. I find this bronzer hard to work with, because first, I have a hard time getting my brush to pick up any product, and when I do get product on my brush, I find that after applied, it is almost impossible to blend out. This is a product that I find can make me look dirty, which isn't good. Although it is some peoples holy grail bronzer, it just doesn't work for me. I wouldn't recommend.
Benefit Hula Bronzer: I like this bronzer, but I'm not sure that I would repurchase because I find that it can pull a little grey on me. I use this more as a contour powder than I do as a bronzer, because it doesn't warm up my skin. It is great for contouring since it is matte, and really mimics a natural shadow on your face. It is pretty expensive, but you don't need a ton to get the look you are going for. If you want to splurge on a bronzer, I'd recommend this, but only for those with paler complexions, because I don't feel like it would show up on darker skin tones, which is really unfortunate.
Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzing Powder: This was my first higher end bronzer, and I think it is great for a variety of skin tones. This is a dual sided bronzer, one side being a more neutral based color, and one side being a more orange/warmer toned bronzer. It can be built up to be very dark, or you could use the lighter side by itself to achieve the look you're going for. It is really expensive for what it is, but it is one of my favorite higher end bronzers. If you want to check out this bronzer, I'd probably wait until Too Faced has it's bi-annual "vintage sale" or it's friends and family sale, so that you can get a bit of a discount.
MAC Smooth Harmony Beauty Powder: This is probably the darkest bronzer that I own. It is really, really, REALLY (can't say that enough) orange based. I would describe this as almost a terracotta toned bronzer. It is extremely pigmented compared to the other MAC beauty powders that I have tried. If you are careful with this YOU WILL LOOK LIKE AN OOMPA LOOMPA! It can be sheered out, but it takes a lot of blending. I find myself using this most in the summer if I am super tanned. This would work well for those with medium to dark warmer skin tones. If you aren't an expert at blending, I'd stay far far far away from this!
MAC Refined Golden Bronzing Powder: I know it probably sounds like I'm hating on MAC, but I'm really not. MAC is one of my favorite brands in general, I just really don't think the bronzers are worth your time. Refined Golden is lighter than Smooth Harmony, and it also has some very chunky gold glitter. (not shimmer..actual glitter) I find this hard to blend out, which can make it look very harsh. For those with more neutral or lightly olive undertones, this will pull very orange. This is another bronzer that makes it look very obvious that I have applied bronzer, and it makes me look orange. It is also expensive, and I prefer all my drugstore bronzers over it!!
Why does blogger like to mutilate my photos! What even happened here?

What is it about mermaids that make me so happy? HAHA But seriously, I just love them. A Mermaid shaped perfume bottle?- EVEN BETTER!!!
This weeks Fragrance Friday is about Harajuku Lovers' G of the Sea perfume. First of all the bottle is just amazing. Luscious mermaid hair, matching coral lip/mani combo, and a heart shaped belly button, this bottle is all about the details.
The notes: Apple, Berries, Water Lily, Jasmine, Peony, Amber, and Musk. Usually I cannot wear anything with Jasmine in it, because it causes me to have a major headache, but this fruity floral scent, isn't the least bit overpowering. It's perfect and subtle for the spring and summer. It doesn't last all day, but it does linger for hours after spritzing!
I have heard that the Harajuku Lovers line of perfumes has been discontinued which is a shame, because I really did enjoy their perfumes. However, I have seen the perfumes at stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls, so I'd check there to see if you can get your hands on G of the Sea! You won't regret it!
I saw this tag floating around YouTube and blogs, and just HAD to do it! I was born in 1990, and consider the 90's my "golden years"! I love anything and everything 90's and wanted to share this tag with you!
The Questions:
1. Favourite TV show
I really liked the original Power Rangers. I have lived in the country my whole life, and we didn't get Disney channel or anything until I was 8 or 9, so until then I LOVED the Power Rangers. In fact, if you had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have told you the Pink Power Ranger!
2. Favourite Toy
No doubt, my BIG WHEEL!
3. favourite commercial
The Sky Dancer Commercial:
The Surge Commercial: (I was obsessed with Surge. It really was the best soda of all time!)
4. Nsync or Backstreet boys
Backstreet Boys :) I saw them in concert last summer with New Kids on the Block. It was magical. Sure, they're almost 40, but they still know how to move!
5. Weirdest fashion trend
I rocked the HECK out of some overalls. Short overalls, skort overalls, even some green corduroy overalls. I loved them all!
6. Favourite collectables
I collected so many things - I have always been (and still am) a hoarder pack rat! I collected Beanie Babies, and Lipsmackers lip balms!
7. Favourite beanie baby
Rocky the Raccoon! I got him when I was in the hospital! He was my first and favorite beanie baby!
8. How many tamagotchi's did you go through?
Are tamagotchi and gigapets the same thing? I had to ask my mom about this one because I only remember having one, which was purple and a key chain and I carried it on my backpack. My mom said I had 5 or 6 of them! I have a sister who is 4 years older than me, and I would apparently always take her gigapets. So I would have mine, and hers! haha I guess I had quite the collection. Ooops. ;)
9. Favourite game console + game
To be honest, I never really had a game console in the 90's. I played outside a lot!
10. Favourite Disney channel original movie?
Wish upon a star, Zenon (was that 90's?), I liked all the Disney Channel Movies!
11. Favourite music artist?
I loved the Spice Girls, Hansen, B*Witched, Backstreet Boys, LFO, and Britney Spears!
12. Favourite Nick Jr. show?
By the time that I got satellite TV with Nick Jr shows, I was really too old to watch Nick Jr.
13. Favourite candy?
I have never been a huge candy or sweets person, even as a kid, but I do remember liking Wonder Balls, which were hollow chocolate balls with sour candy in the middle. I also like Chewy Sweet tarts, and Ring Pops!
14. Favourite game? (board game, school game, etc.)
Growing up I played a lot of board games with my family! I have so many great memories from that! I really liked Pop-o-matic Trouble, Monopoly, and life, but my FAVORITE was Disney Trivia. I was a beast at Disney Trivia, and could beat my family every time! I got so good at it, that my family started making me do the adult trivia questions! haha
15. Favourite McDonald's Happy Meal toy?
Mini Beanie Babies, and Mini Cabbage Patch Dolls!
16. Favourite book?
My mom would always read to my sister and I before bed, and we loved listening to the Baily School Kids books! They were so good!
17. Favourite clothing store?
Growing up, I didn't like shopping at all. Around 4th or 5th grade I started caring a little about shopping, and really wanting to wear what everyone else was wearing. Limited Too was my favorite store!
18. What would you watch when you'd get home from school?
I didn't watch TV when I'd get home from school. I'd do my homework and then usually play outside. I was only allowed to watch 30 minutes of TV on school nights, so I usually planned out what I wanted to watch in advance!
I hope you enjoyed the 90's Kid Tag! I tag anyone who wants to do it!
Summer is just around the corner! - and to be honest, this spring has felt a bit summer like as it's been in the 80's for a while now! I thought I would share with you my favorite "Fuzz Free" hair removal products for summer, for those who want to try something other than shaving. Let's get started!
Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover For Face: I know that women don't like to admit it, but unless you are some sort of hairless human, we in general have hair on our face. Whether it be more on the mustache side of things, or just peach fuzz, it's there. Yes, it can be a bit embarrassing to admit or talk about, but hey it happens to all of us, so why be embarrassed? Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover is by far the best remover for my face. I'll go ahead and admit this first, I have dark hair on my face, and it is quite noticeable thanks to my pale complexion. Glamorous? - NO, but it's real life! ;) I'll apply a thin layer of this once or twice a week for 2-3 minutes, and then wash off with a damp wash cloth. It's simple and it works. I've never experienced any redness or burning, and best of all it is pretty cheap at the drugstore, and you get 2 oz, which will last you forever!
Nair Silky Sensations Dual Moisturizing Blend: I love to use this on my legs! 20% of this is a moisturizer, so it moisturizes while removing hair. It is pomegranate and soy scented, which is a nice change from the typical Nair smell. It leaves your legs hair free and silky smooth!
Moom Botanical Hair Remover: I talked about this in my post about my favorite natural products. This isn't your typical wax, because it is using the sugaring technique. It contains all natural ingredients, and is gentle even on my most delicate areas.
GiGi Brazilian Bikini Wax System: This kit is great because you don't have to have a wax warmer to use it. It is a microwave formula. The kit contains the microwavable wax, pre-hon, pre-epillation oil, wax off oil, slow grow moisturizer, and applicators. You do have to be careful with this, because if you don't pull the wax off at first try, it can get stuck on your skin and it is painful to get off. It would be easier if you had someone to help you so they can pull your skin tight as your pull off the wax. This is a hard wax, so you don't need any strips to remove it, you just pull the wax right off. The kit wasn't very expensive from Amazon, and contains everything you'll need from start to finish!
I'd love to know your tips and tricks or favorite hair removal products that keep you fuzz free for summer! I love hearing from you!
I wanted to do a little catch-up or recap post on the posts from this week, just in case you missed any, or wanted to check them out! I'll also link my YouTube Videos from this week in case you're interested!

Thrifting Finds // The Limited, Just Fab, Dior, Burberry, VS + More: Thrift shopping is my favorite thing to do, and I've hunted down some amazing finds over the last 4 months. Check it out [HERE]Bonus- YouTube video linked at the end of blog post!
Fragrance Friday: Britney Spears Circus Fantasy perfume. I know some find celebrity fragrances tacky, but I happen to love them. Read more [HERE]
Favorite Natural Health & Beauty Products: I've been a vegetarian for almost two years, but I haven't always been into natural beauty products, over the last year, that has changed! Also products that help soothe dry mouth, and a peek into oral care obsessions. Find out more [HERE]BONUS: YouTube video linked at the end of the post
Being a Godmother: An intro to Kendall, and her (God)Mothers day gift to me! See that [HERE]
I've posted about my amazing little Goddaughter BabyKendall before, but I wanted to share with you what she got me this year for (God)Mothers day! :) She is my absolute favorite person, and she brings so much joy and giggles into my life! She is big enough to color this year, and loves to use her crayons! I thought her drawings on the card were the cutest thing I've ever seen!
Today I wanted to share with you my favorite natural health & beauty products! Although I have been a vegetarian for almost two years now, I wasn't always into using natural products. Over the years I have found some stand out natural products that I really couldn't do without.
Moom 100% Natural Botanical Hair Remover: This is an amazing sugaring hair remover. Literally the only ingredients in this is sugar, lemon, chamomile, water and tea tree oil! No nasty chemicals. You can use this anywhere that you would use a regular waxing product. It is especially great for any facial hair that you want to remove, because it is very gentle on your skin. It is also gentle on the delicate bikini area. I purchased mine at Whole Foods, but you can find it easily online, and it usually runs under $10
Trader Joe's Organic Virgin Coconut Oil: The possibilities for this product are endless. I use it on my hair, skin, cuticles, lips - anywhere that I'm feeling dry! You can also use this as a makeup remover, and it will MELT away your makeup quickly and effectively! Obviously- you can also cook with this, and it is a heart healthy food that is known to help stabilize blood sugar and positively effect your thyroid! I got this at Trader Joe's for $5.99. The jar is huge and will last forever. You can find coconut oil at many different stores, but you want to make sure that you are buying pure organic coconut oil. Make sure to read the label to see that there are no additives.
The Natural Dentist Healthy Moisture Mouth Wash: If you watch my YouTube videos, then you have heard me mention that I struggle with dry mouth, due to a side effect to one of the medications that I take. I have to take the medication daily, so I have had to learn to deal with dry mouth on a daily basis. One of the things that I have found that does help is the Natural Dentist Healthy Moisture Mouth Wash. I use this on days when I am having a lot of trouble with dry mouth. It helps to moisturize your mouth and soothe the gum tissue. It has no alcohol or artificial anything! I got mine at CVS for around $6.
Josie Maran Argan Oil: To be honest, I was skeptical about this product at first, but it is something that truly does work. I have very dry dehydrated skin, and this product saves my skin! I use this at night, or whenever I am feeling extra dry, and I wake up the next day with plumped and radiant looking skin. It also helped to clear up any blocked pores in my skin as well. You can use this on your hair, skin, cuticles, anywhere - the possibilities are endless. Something that peaked my interest in this product was that Argan Oil is high in Vitamin E, which is known to reduce the appearance of scars, and stretch marks. (After my mom had surgery, the Dr. told her to use Vitamin E oil to help with scarring, and it worked wonders!) I have the "To-go" size of the Josie Maran Argan Oil, because I got it in a set around Christmas. I know that you can get argan oil from many different brands, but after researching Josie Maran's company, I really support her cause. I'd recommend researching all that she does for the women of Morocco! The To-go size is $14 and honestly lasts a long time because you don't need very much! You can find it on QVC, Josie's website, and Sephora!
Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash: Never in my life would I have thought I'd be saying that I'm committing myself to a mouth wash, but here I am. The Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash is something that I've been using off and on for years. I struggle with (Medically diagnosed) OCD, regarding my teeth and oral care. In my quest for a healthy mouth, I've tried pretty much every mouthwash coming and going. This is BY FAR the best thing that I've ever come across. Tea Tree Oil is known to have antiseptic and healing properties, and let me tell you - it is effective, while still being gentle. I strayed away from this product after I ran out, and I decided to finish a bottle of ACT restoring mouthwash that I had laying around. After using the ACT for one day, I woke up with 6 or 7 PAINFUL blisters on my tongue. I thought that it was a coincidence so I kept using it hoping that it would get better. It didn't. I immediately went to Whole Foods and picked up another bottle of the Tea Tree Oil mouthwash. Within two or three days of using the Desert Essence mouthwash, the blisters were gone. It definitely taught me a lesson, and I won't stray again. It has no alcohol, sugar, or artificial flavors or coloring. It makes my mouth feel moisturized, and clean, and that helps cut down on my anxiety about my oral health. If you only check out one product in this post- PLEASE check out the Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash, because I cannot express how amazing it truly is! You can find it online, but in my area, the only place I have seen it is at Whole Foods. The big bottle that I have retails for $7.99, and it is worth every penny plus more.
Those are my favorite natural health & beauty products. I'd love to know your favorite products!
This week I have been loving Britney Spears' Circus Fantasy perfume. I know, I know, some people might think that celebrity fragrances are a little cheesy, but I happen to LOVE them!
First of all, I think the bottle is gorgeous. I really love the blue paired with the red. It went great along with her advertisment for this perfume, which obviously was circus themed. (I boycott circuses in real life, but since none of the money spent went to circuses, I figured it was okay!)
The notes are described as: "Juicy Raspberry Zest, Apricot Blossom, Peony, Lotus, Orchid, Vanilla, Musk, and Violet Candy." (what is violet candy?!) I really like this fragrance and I find it to be perfect for spring. It isn't too floral-y, (floral perfumes typically give me a huge headache), but it's just the right amount of floral, vanilla, and sweetness. I think it is one of the most unique perfumes that Britney Spears has come out with. The best part? It lingers for HOURS without having to reapply.
I got mine at TJMaxx, but it shouldn't be too hard to find online if you are interested.
