1. Do you plan for each/some of your blog posts, if so, how do you do this?

Yes, I usually plan out my blog posts. I'm usually inspired to blog about a product that I'm loving that I think others would love as well. I also enjoy doing tags, although I'm usually not tagged.

2. Do you have a blogging notebook/diary where you write and plan about things to do with your blog?

Yes, I have a notebook that I write blogging ideas and "to-do" lists in. I was a Communication major in school, and prefer the old pen to paper method of keeping track of my blogging ideas. I know keeping the list in my iPhone would be easier, but there is just something about writing it down on paper that I love.

3. Do you feel pressured to buy things so that you have something to review on your blog?

No, I don't. I've never been one to be pressured into anything. Most of my posts are on things that are already in my collection. I've been a makeup lover for over five years, so I could blog on things I already own for a longggg time before needing to buy anything else. Sure, as a makeup lover I ENJOY buying new products, but I've never felt pressured.

4. Has the style of your posts/blog been influenced by someone else. If so, who?

I would hope that my blog posts are completely my own, as I try not to be influenced by others. I have favorite blogs that I enjoy reading, but they haven't influenced my content.

5. What are your favourite posts to plan and write about?

 My favorite posts to plan and write about are usually about products that I love. I feel like you can really tell when someone is passionate about something and is really wanting to share it with their readers. I have read some posts in the past on blogs that are sponsored posts, and there isn't that "spark" or excitement over products. I love to write about things that I love and use, because I feel like it really comes across to my readers! 

6. Do you think that your knowledge of makeup (and applying it) has improved because of blogging?

Definitely! I think my knowledge has come a long way! I was reading beauty blogs for many years before I got the nerve to start my own, and I think that my makeup skills have gotten much better since I first started reading. I remember in high school, I used to pack on the black eyeliner all the way around my eye, and applied bronzer with a sponge all over my face as if it was a powder. *cringe*

7. Do you test all products for a certain amount of time before you review them?

Yes, I test them for quite a while before I review them. I want to make sure to give my readers a honest review and want to be able to tell them the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly honest truth. In this economy, money is tight, and I don't want my readers to waste their time or money on a product that I recommend that I didn't test completely.

9. Do you feel the need to buy something you have wanted EVEN more when you see your favourite blogger talking about it?

I don't feel the need, but seeing my favorite blogger talking about a product that I've been wanting does make that product get pushed to the top of my ever growing wish list!

10. Do you find taking pictures to be a chore, or not?

It depends honestly. If it's a day that is overcast and grey, then I do find it to be a chore because I love to use natural lighting. If it is bright and sunny, then I get really excited to take photos, and have even been venturing outside to take some photos!
